Delete your account
Here you can permanently delete your account in Galactic Foundry: Idle Factory by Ing. Ondřej Novotný, Ph.D. and the data stored on our server.
What is deleted
- your profile and display name, game progress (cloud save), weekly challenge results and rewards,
- granted items, the Google Play Games link, if any, and all sign-in sessions.
What is kept
- records of purchases, without any link to you, as long as accounting and tax law requires (up to 10 years),
- security records (e.g. sign-up, purchases, this deletion) without your player ID, for up to 2 years,
- server logs (shortened IP address, pseudonymous player ID) for up to 30 days,
- usage statistics and crash reports, if you switched them on in the game: they are not linked to your account, and Google Firebase keeps them for up to 2 months (statistics) or 90 days (crash reports),
- data that Google processes for ads (AdMob) and the Google Play Billing diagnostics: Google keeps them under its own rules (policies.google.com/technologies/retention),
- backups are overwritten within 14 days.
Deletion in the game or with the deletion code is immediate and cannot be undone. Google Play purchases are not refunded. Uninstalling the game does not delete data on the server.
Delete without the app
With your player ID and deletion code (both in the game under Settings → Account) the account is deleted at once.
No longer have the game, or lost the code? Enter only your player ID. The account is then deleted after 14 days unless it is used in the game during that time: player IDs are public (for example on leaderboards), and this way nobody can delete the account of someone who still plays. You can also write to 0ndr4N@proton.me. If you bought something in the game, e-mail us the Google Play order number (GPA.…) from Google's receipt e-mail (it does not go into the form): it shows that the account is yours, and we delete it without waiting, even without the player ID. If you have neither your player ID nor an order number, we cannot tell which account is yours. An account that nobody signs in to is deleted automatically, at the latest about 7 months after it was last used (privacy policy, section 5).
